In this role you will lead global patient marketing for the VNS therapy portfolio, shaping patient engagement across NA and Europe and adapting programs for local markets. You will design and scale patient-centric campaigns that educate and empower people with epilepsy and caregivers while ensuring compliance and cultural relevance. You will drive DTC multichannel initiatives to accelerate adoption and work with cross-functional teams to align patient and physician messaging. Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the US and OUS patient marketing strategy for VNS therapy, focusing on awareness and education about epilepsy and neuromodulation.
  • Design and optimize Direct-to-Consumer multichannel campaigns to generate qualified leads and accelerate adoption.
  • Develop patient journey maps and identify barriers, enabling smoother referral pathways to epilepsy centers.
  • Create compliant, empathetic educational content and coordinate asset reviews with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory.
  • Build global advocacy partnerships and patient ambassador programs representing diverse populations.
  • Collaborate with HCP Marketing, Clinical, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Sales, and Digital teams to align messaging.
  • Support global product launches and indication expansions, including new neuromodulation technologies.
  • Provide data-driven insights to optimize targeting, segmentation, and channel performance.
  • Develop adaptable education toolkits for OUS markets and support regional localization.
  • Lead and manage a team and budgets to deliver high-quality patient programs.

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • 10+ years of patient or consumer healthcare marketing experience including digital campaigns and educational programs
  • Experience in medical devices, neuromodulation, neurology, chronic disease management, or other regulated therapeutic areas
  • Strong understanding of patient and caregiver dynamics in epilepsy or similar conditions
  • Experience navigating FDA, MLR, and device regulatory requirements
  • Proven track record of driving measurable patient acquisition and engagement
