Responsibilities
- Oversee labor productivity as an operational finance discipline and translate workload and staffing data into actionable insights
- Develop credible benchmarks across departments, facilities, and service lines with adjustments for operational differences
- Partner with operators, nursing, clinical leaders, HR, and finance to explain variances and drive staffing decisions
- Perform root-cause analyses of labor variation, covering volume, scheduling, overtime, and skill mix
- Create and maintain tools, dashboards, and governance for sustained productivity improvements
- Provide financial oversight of assigned ministries, including variance reporting and target achievement
- Serve as liaison to accounts payable and payroll to support ministry operations
- Support capital project facilitation and regional/system financial processes
- Contribute to budgeting, monthly financial reviews, and ministry management meetings
- Lead special projects, internal audit actions, and process improvements across regions
Key requirements
- 8+ years in a leadership role
- 10+ years of closely related experience
- Strong knowledge of financial principles and ability to apply them
- Ability to analyze financial and operational data and derive solutions
- Demonstrated problem-solving and reporting skills
- Strong written and verbal communication tailored to audience
- Experience presenting to in-person and virtual formats
- Collaborative and conflict management skills
- Healthcare industry knowledge and multi-site experience
- Microsoft Office proficiency
