In this role you will lead the strategy and operation of a centralized, multi-tenant data hub across Novartis International, enabling cross-country collaboration and scalable analytics and AI. You will partner with AI, Data Science, and Marketing platforms teams to deliver EDM-aligned data platforms with trusted quality and governance. Your work will focus on cloud infrastructure, data management, and standardization while driving efficiency, cost optimization, and compliance. You will influence senior stakeholders and shape next-generation data capabilities to support international objectives. Responsibilities

Lead a centralized multi-tenant data hub hosting commercial, patient services, market access, and digital data assets.
Provide strategic direction for EDM design, development, operation, and support for the International organization.
Build automated, centralized data platforms focusing on data quality, classification, lineage, and cataloging.
Drive international data strategy and evolve capabilities to support future objectives.
Shape and execute data strategies to optimize spend and educate stakeholders on data value and usage.
Collaborate with country data/analytics teams to tailor solutions for local needs while maintaining standardization.
Work with governance, risk, and compliance teams to ensure compliant data procurement and usage, maximizing automation.
Scale data operations to deliver a reliable, compliant data backbone and manage budgets, resources, and timelines.

Key requirements

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, Business, or another technical field.
8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, data, analytics, IT, or similar roles.
5+ years of Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Healthcare analytics experience.
Experience with types of healthcare datasets (structured and unstructured) and digital/healthcare data.
Experience with Agile ways of working.
