In this role you will lead a high-performing Data Operations team to enable data-driven decisions across SiriusXM’s massive audio platforms. You will shape data strategy, govern robust pipelines, and deliver scalable semantic layers on Snowflake that power KPI reporting. Working with cross-functional partners, you’ll translate roadmaps into actionable data solutions, balancing tactical delivery with long-term platform evolution. Responsibilities

Manage a group of senior and mid-level data operations analysts, providing mentorship and performance management
Contribute to talent growth through recruitment and development of data operations professionals
Align execution with the product roadmap and clearly define KPI metrics and requirements
Leverage enterprise data tools (dbt, Looker, Tableau) to deliver trusted data assets
Oversee implementation and scaling of the semantic layer platform with cross-functional delivery
Partner with data engineering, product, and analytics teams to ensure scalable solution designs
Prioritize workload across projects balancing short-term delivery with long-term platform evolution
Establish best practices for dbt, testing, CI/CD, and Git workflows
Review data pipeline requirements, process models, and architectural recommendations
Manage and analyze large-scale data volumes (1+ PB) powering streaming, podcasting, and advertising用途

Key requirements

10+ years in data operations, data engineering or systems architecture
5+ years in people leadership with experience scaling teams
Strong command of Snowflake, dbt, Git, orchestration tools, and semantic layer platforms
Proven ability to lead cross-functional analytics teams in an enterprise environment
Deep understanding of dimensional modeling, metric standardization, and semantic architecture design
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
