Experteer Overview
As Director Customer Logistics, you will oversee operations management, safety, financial performance and customer relations across multiple warehouse locations. You will champion LEAN deployment and continuous improvement for assigned accounts, while expanding business with current customers and pursuing new opportunities. You will lead and develop location managers, participate in business development, and manage $10M–$30M in operating revenue with a focus on KPIs and safety. You will represent Ryder in customer meetings, including QBRs, and drive cross-functional execution. This role enables you to shape scalable logistics solutions and drive measurable impact across multi-site operations

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with customer leadership at regional or corporate levels
- Forecast and manage financial targets for assigned accounts, with mitigation plans
- Operate to meet/exceed KPIs and lead during peak seasons and projects
- Identify expansion opportunities and participate in business development for new customers
- Ensure safety culture meets targets and deploy Lean Principles across operations
- Hire, train, and supervise Group Logistics Managers to meet account needs
- Oversee management of Profit and Loss statements using data sets
- Manage complex logistics solutions including warehousing, distribution, transportation and carrier management at a strategic level
Key requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain or related field
- 8+ years logistics/supply chain experience in multiple locations
- 5+ years experience developing and implementing complete logistics solutions and project management
- 6+ years managing, leading and developing direct reports
- 6+ years managing large multi-level teams
- 5+ years P&L responsibility including forecasting and managing financial targets
- 4+ years managing customer KPIs
- 4+ years managing customer relationships and interaction
- DOT Regulated - No Travel - 0 to 10% (implicit travel expectation)
