In this role you will lead the new Community Psychological Services Center as part of ODU’s Clinical Psychology PhD Program. You will direct administrative operations, supervise graduate trainees, and ensure HIPAA compliance while delivering evidence-based assessment and therapy. You’ll help establish CPSC as a training and research hub serving Hampton Roads, shaping clinical services and policy. This position blends program leadership with direct service duties in a university clinical setting.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the new CPSC
- Supervise graduate students in assessment and treatment
- Serve as HIPAA Compliance Officer and ensure data security and confidentiality
- Uphold APA ethics and professional standards, plus relevant laws
- Supervise office staff and coordinate with university administrators and external partners
- Engage in meetings with referral sources and community organizations
- Provide direct clinical services as needed
- Develop and maintain connections for training and research opportunities
Key requirements
- Doctoral degree in clinical psychology or closely related field from an APA-accredited program
- APA-accredited internship or equivalent
- Licensure or licensure-eligible in Virginia before start date
- At least one year of clinical supervision experience
- Three years of post-doctoral experience in health service psychology
