Responsibilities
- Facilitate clinical development and medical evidence generation plans
- Ensure strategic alignment with Ascendis’ goals and priorities
- Provide a comprehensive view of the endocrine portfolio and lifecycle activities
- Create contemporary, visible roadmaps and balance dependencies
- Manage competing resource demands and evaluate portfolio performance
- Facilitate execution of plans to generate impactful evidence
- Clarify priorities for endpoints and cross-functional decision-making
- Support effective collaboration and productive meetings
- Promote organized workflows and time for strategic thinking
- Improve data presentation flow and internal messaging through tools and visuals
- Cultivate proactivity, accountability, and long-term organizational readiness
- Oversee cross-functional collaboration and data interpretation discussions
Key requirements
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement across multiple functions (Innovation & Research, Regulatory, PV, Product Development, etc.)
- Lead through influence with sound judgement and scientific thinking
- Advanced degree preferred (MD, PhD, PharmD, or MS)
- Significant experience in biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry
- Ability and willingness to travel ~10–15% domestically and internationally
