Responsibilities

  • Co-lead due diligence as the global Integration Manager for assigned deals
  • Assemble and lead cross-functional due diligence teams; interpret valuations against feasibility and strategy
  • Review and provide input on legal agreements; prepare executive recommendations
  • Develop and propagate a deep understanding of business needs related to integration
  • Lead integration strategy and planning for M&A projects
  • Develop cross-functional integration plans and assemble the integration team
  • Set a methodical, solution-oriented tone and manage through uncertainty
  • Drive continuous improvement of processes based on best practices and lessons learned
  • Implement advanced project management tools; manage budgets, resources, schedules, and reporting
  • Prepare transition and ongoing integration plans; ensure goals are followed and achieved
  • Influence from team to executive management with clear written and verbal communication
  • Provide coaching on BD processes, roles, and best practices

Key requirements

  • Bachelor's degree; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience, ideally in Medical Devices or similarly regulated industries with M&A/integration
  • 7+ years in cross-functional project leadership within medical devices; due diligence and post-merger integration preferred
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • High business acumen and ability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to distill complex information into actions
  • Ability to influence senior decision makers across organizational levels
  • Solid knowledge of advanced project management tools and techniques
  • Ability to read financial statements
  • Understanding of regulatory/quality standards in medical devices
  • Willingness to travel 10–20% domestically and internationally
