In this role you own the end-to-end CAD/BIM ecosystem and drive a connected, efficient digital landscape for design to production. You lead a CAD/BIM core team, shape standards, and align internal and external partners to enable scalable, future-ready workflows. You will push digitalization, automation, and AI-enabled solutions across the design-to-production chain, extending into data and document workflows and integrations with manufacturing and jobsite processes. This position offers growth, cross-functional impact, and the chance to shape international, design-to-production workflows.

- Competitive salary starting from EUR 80,000 gross per year (plus potential overpay) plus variable compensation
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the CAD/BIM core team and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and partners
- Own and evolve the multi-CAD landscape (SolidWorks, Revit, AutoCAD, etc.) and end-to-end design-to-production processes
- Define, harmonize, and drive adoption of CAD/BIM standards, templates, and best practices
- Drive digitalization, automation, and AI-enabled solutions across the end-to-end ecosystem
- Ensure integration, interoperability, and robust PDM governance
- Drive continuous improvement of efficiency, quality, and process performance
- Collaborate across sites to implement standardized workflows and data/document management
- Support CAD-ERP integration and extend digital initiatives into manufacturing and jobsite workflows
- Provide governance and oversight for design-to-production data and workflows
- Foster opportunities for personal growth and cross-functional collaboration
Key requirements
- Degree or technical background in Engineering, CAD, Construction, or similar
- Several years of CAD/BIM experience in engineering or technical design environments with multi-CAD exposure (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
- Strong understanding of design-to-production workflows and system integration
- Leadership experience or willingness to develop such experience, plus cross-functional collaboration skills
- Familiarity with jobsite and surveying technologies (e.g., 3D scanning, 360 capture) is an advantage
- Affinity for digitalization, automation, and AI-driven solutions with practical use-case translation
- Fluent in German and English
