As Design Sales Manager, you will lead a commission-based sales team to drive revenue and growth for Closet Factory’s premium, custom storage solutions. You’ll guide and develop the team, align sales activity with company goals, and engage with homeowners, designers, builders, and architects to deliver high-quality, space-maximizing designs. You’ll work closely with ownership to identify new markets and opportunities, using data to set targets and improve performance. This role combines leadership, design sensibility, and strategic sales execution to shape our growth trajectory.

Responsibilities
- Motivate the sales team to exceed quotas and KPIs
- Analyze sales data and reports to project targets and identify new markets
- Achieve growth by effectively managing the sales group
- Conduct skills gap analyses and deliver motivational and educational meetings
- Direct and coordinate all sales activities within the geographic area
- Handle and resolve customer complaints related to Design Consultants
- Oversee performance and productivity of the sales team
- Manage appointment distribution and improve customer relations skills
- Develop plans to increase referral business and maintain relationships with interior designers, builders, contractors, and architects
- Collaborate with Owner and management to drive growth
Key requirements
- 5+ years' experience managing salespeople
- Significant personal sales experience; home improvement sales a plus
- Computer experience including Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience a plus
- Strong customer service and precise follow-through
- Trainable and coachable with excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience mentoring, coaching, and people management
- Proficient at public speaking and comfortable in front of groups
