In this role you will provide medical, scientific, and strategic leadership for the planning, execution, and reporting of clinical trials. You will serve as Medpace's internal medical expert for study reports and results interpretation. You will help develop new clinical projects, including study design, protocols, and project plans. The position offers hybrid work in various locations and travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities
- Provide medical management and expertise for clinical trials
- Contribute medical expertise to study reports, regulatory documents, and manuscripts
- Manage safety issues in clinical trials and collaborate on evaluation of trials
- Participate in business development through proposals and sponsor meetings as requested
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams across feasibility, design, education, medical information, and document review/editing
- Lead adherence to research-related protocols and policies
Key requirements
- MD degree or equivalent
- Board certification and current medical licensure preferred
- Prior clinical trial research experience preferred
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical-related clinical research preferred
