In this role you support Delaware Trust Officers by handling trust administration and client servicing for fiduciary relationships. You will serve as a backup contact for clients and the trust team, handling account maintenance, funds transfers, and documentation tasks. The position emphasizes adherence to policies, regulatory requirements, and accurate administrative support to protect client interests. You will work within a fast-paced team focused on responsible growth and delivering exceptional service to high-net-worth clients.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to Trust Officers and Trust Administrative Officers II
Handle trust-related servicing activities: deposits/transfers, PACE/Trust Web transactions, account maintenance
Assist with client communications, letter generation, and document processing
Open/close accounts and maintain accurate accounting system coding
Coordinate tax requests and other client service tasks (phone coverage, filing, etc.)
Potentially review documents and participate in discretionary actions within Trust engagements
Back up client-facing Trust Officers as needed
Support client retention efforts and internal compliance with policies and regulatory requirements

Key requirements

Ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced team environment
Compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Paralegal studies with relevant legal/trust administrative experience (preferred)
Financial Institution experience focusing on high-net-worth client service (a plus)
BS/BA degree preferred or equivalent experience (preferred)
Minimum Education: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
