Experteer Overview
In this role you help safeguard global cloud infrastructure by performing hardware and network diagnostics, routine repairs, and on-call incident support. You will work across a diverse team to keep AWS services highly available and cost-efficient, tackling hands-on technical challenges in data center environments. You’ll contribute to documentation and process improvements while engaging with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities
- Perform server rack installations and hardware repair
- Troubleshoot network issues and respond to incidents affecting service availability
- Serve as primary contact for engineers, vendors, and contractors
- Participate in on-call duties and maintenance/change management
- Contribute to documentation and process improvements
- Assist in interviewing, training, and onboarding new teammates
Key requirements
- 1+ years of computer networking experience
- 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience in computer networking
- Experience working with Linux operating systems
- Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds
- Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair
