Experteer Overview
In this role you contribute to the reliability of AWS’s global data centers by diagnosing hardware and network issues and performing repairs. You will work with a diverse team of engineers and operators, participate in on-call rotations, and help maintain service availability. The role blends hands-on hardware, networking, and process improvements to support scalable, secure cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Perform server rack installations and hardware break-fix across components
- Troubleshoot network issues and respond to incidents impacting service availability
- Carry out routine hardware, network, and OS repairs to maintain AWS service uptime
- Serve as primary contact for internal/external stakeholders (engineers, vendors, contractors)
- Participate in on-call duties and scheduled maintenance/change management
- Contribute to documentation and process improvements based on incident analysis
Key requirements
- 1+ years of computer networking experience
- 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience
- Experience in computer networking
- Experience working with Linux operating systems
- Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
