Experteer Overview
In this role, you will help shape the future of our large-scale, distributed in-flight connectivity services by owning and evolving key microservices from cradle to grave. You will work within the Revenue Assurance team to measure SLA performance and ensure accurate billing data, translating KPIs into insights that reflect passenger experience. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, automate solutions, and participate in follow-the-sun on-call duties. This position offers hands-on impact in a highly connected, cloud-based environment with a strong emphasis on DevOps and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities
- Own and develop key microservices for in-flight connectivity SLA measurement and billing data accuracy
- Build and maintain data pipelines and KPIs that feed customer invoices and service dashboards
- Collaborate with operations, architects, and product managers to drive cross-functional initiatives
- Design innovative, automated solutions to complex technical problems
- Participate in follow-the-sun on-call duties and maintain high system reliability
- Contribute to DevOps practices and modern software development environments
Key requirements
- 4+ years of software development experience with distributed applications and a Master's degree in CS or CE; or 6+ years with a Bachelor's; or 8+ years without a degree
- Strong knowledge of Java, Python, or SQL (two or more)
- Experience designing and implementing Airflow DAGs for data pipelines
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform or similar cloud environments
- Ability to work in distributed remote agile teams with high self-motivation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
- Experience with agile methodologies (Kanban, SCRUM, XP) and DevOps practices
- Experience with algorithms, data structures, and software design
- Ability to travel up to 10%
