In this role you drive data security and governance across Octapharma’s digital landscape. You will design data classification and protection frameworks, enforce access controls, and lead risk assessments to safeguard data integrity and compliance. You’ll oversee the digital records lifecycle and monitor regulatory adherence (GDPR, HIPAA, and standards) to support responsible data management. Joining a small Cyber Security team, you’ll shape secure, scalable practices in a mission-driven, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain data classification and protection strategies
Implement data handling policies, encryption, and access controls
Conduct data risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigations
Oversee digital records management lifecycle from creation to secure disposal
Monitor and ensure compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and industry standards
Optimize and configure Microsoft Purview compliance features (DLP, eDiscovery, Insider Risk Management, Information Governance)
Support regulatory and data protection requirements across sites and departments

Key requirements

Minimum 7 years of experience in data security, governance, or related field
Solid understanding of risk management principles and methodologies
Strong communication and leadership, with ability to translate technical topics for non-technical stakeholders
Experience simplifying regulatory and compliance requirements across departments
Familiarity with ISO 27001, CIS Controls, NIST, IEC-62443 frameworks
Demonstrated discretion handling sensitive data
Bachelor in Engineering
