In this role you will lead Bumble Bee’s cybersecurity efforts, acting as the primary contact for threat detection, investigation, and response across the enterprise. You will develop playbooks, improve detection tooling, and ensure compliance while partnering with IT to enhance security. The position focuses on building a resilient security program, including risk assessments and third-party security reviews. You will work cross-functionally to enable secure adoption of AI-driven technologies and drive ongoing security improvement.

Responsibilities

Mature the security program and own the incident response lifecycle
Collaborate with IT to prioritize patching and vulnerability remediation
Implement and optimize SIEM and threat detection tooling, reducing noise
Perform security risk assessments for platforms and vendors, including AI/SaaS
Conduct access control reviews and ensure compliance
Develop and maintain enterprise IT policies and incident response playbooks
Monitor threat intelligence and CVE disclosures to coordinate remediation
Enhance cybersecurity tools and support secure adoption of AI-driven technologies
Lead tabletop exercises and phishing prevention programs
Assess third-party security risk and review contracts for protections

Key requirements

4+ years in cybersecurity or information security roles
Experience with incident response, threat detection, and log correlation
Proficiency with SIEM platforms and detection engineering
Experience with vulnerability management tools (Tenable, Qualys)
Windows and Linux knowledge, command-line tools, and system architecture
Experience with Security Awareness Training platforms
Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework
Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS)
Experience with EDR platforms (Microsoft Defender, Purview, Sophos, CrowdStrike)
Experience using secure API tools for automation and orchestration
Knowledge of frameworks and standards (NIST, SOC, ISO, CIS)
Tabletop exercise and penetration testing experience
Understanding data protection, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
