In this dynamic Credit Professional role, you act as a versatile operator across the credit function, supporting underwriting, loan production, audits, construction draws, report editing, and presentation packaging. You work directly with the Head of Credit Administration to keep the department aligned with risk and business goals. You solve problems, fill gaps, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment. This role offers impact by shaping credit processes and cross-functional collaboration, with a strong focus on quality and execution.
Responsibilities
- Assemble loan presentation packages for Credit Committee and executive review
- Proofread and polish credit memoranda for accuracy and impact
- Coordinate Credit Committee and related meetings, prepare agendas, and track follow-ups
- Monitor loan portfolio health, assist in data analysis and portfolio reviews
- Coordinate and support credit audits and loan review activities
- Generate and refine credit and portfolio reports; identify workflow improvements; support MIS enhancements
- Support other duties as assigned
Key requirements
- 5+ years experience in credit administration, commercial underwriting, or loan operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- MBA or similar degree preferred
- Strong understanding of credit policy, risk ratings, and loan documentation
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and credit systems (e.g., JackHenry, Abrigo)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change
