As Country Manager for Spain, you will own the market P&L and drive growth through partnerships, sales excellence, and operational execution. You’ll lead the Spanish sales and support teams, align local strategy with global leadership, and represent ViaBill to merchants, regulators, and industry stakeholders. This is a high-impact, international scale-up role with direct reporting to the CEO. You’ll shape Spain’s BNPL trajectory by optimizing structures, expanding partnerships, and implementing a go-to-market plan.

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of Spain's P&L and commercial success
  • Lead and develop the Spanish sales and customer support teams for sustainable growth
  • Define and execute the Spain go-to-market strategy
  • Build and negotiate long-term partnerships with merchants and C-level stakeholders
  • Serve as ViaBill’s representative to partners, merchants, and regulatory bodies in Spain
  • Monitor KPIs and market trends to identify growth and efficiency opportunities
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, risk, and finance to adapt strategies to Spain
  • Prepare the ground for potential expansion of local structure (marketing, operations) as the business grows

Key requirements

  • 5+ years in a senior commercial or leadership role (country manager, head of sales, or general manager) within fintech, payments, e-commerce, or SaaS
  • Proven P&L responsibility and experience in scaling teams (sales and operations)
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills with top-tier merchants and partners
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with ability to turn insights into actions
  • Fluent in Spanish (native-level) and English
  • Ambitious, resilient, and motivated by growth in a dynamic, international scale-up environment
