As a Corporate Account Manager for Ecolab’s Institutional Division, you drive value for national and international corporate accounts in foodservice, care, lodging, and facility care. You act as the link between field teams, executives at client organizations, and internal partners to deliver tailored, high-impact solutions. You’ll craft strategic account plans, manage complex deals, and ensure a superior customer experience. You join a global, collaborative environment where your insights shape long-term partnerships and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage national & international corporate accounts in target segments
  • Identify key decision makers and build trusted relationships
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow the business
  • Create customer-specific relationship strategies based on needs
  • Resolve outstanding service issues to customer satisfaction
  • Design and deliver effective proposals leveraging Ecolab offerings
  • Identify opportunities within existing accounts and coordinate resources
  • Develop sales budgets and pricing strategies
  • Collaborate with global account teams, field sales, distribution, and other divisions
  • Utilize tools to produce executive-ready presentations and summaries
  • Act as knowledge expert on assigned customers and share insights internally
  • Represent Ecolab at industry and customer meetings

Key requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of successful B2B sales experience in relevant industries
  • Hunting sales mentality with goal orientation
  • Experience in a large global matrixed organization and budget/growth achievement
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills across levels
  • Customer focus with strategic mindset and agility
  • Ability to negotiate complex deals and pricing
  • Strong business/financial acumen and achievement orientation
  • Strong interpersonal skills and cross-functional networking
  • Excellent problem-solving, decisiveness, and prioritization
  • Experienced CRM user, preferably Salesforce
  • Ability to work with diverse, multi-cultural teams and customers
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe
