In this Controller role, you will lead a high-impact finance function within a hedge fund-focused outsourcing partner. You’ll oversee client engagements, mentor staff, and manage key financial operations across NAVs, financials, valuations, and regulatory reporting. You work closely with fund principals, investor relations, and ops teams to support growth and compliance in a hybrid environment. Your leadership will shape infrastructure, processes, and strategic initiatives across the firm.

Responsibilities

Lead hedge fund client engagements and mentor accounting staff
Oversee shadow books, NAVs, financials, valuations, audits, and tax coordination
Serve as a primary contact for investor relations and operational due diligence
Review monthly closes, expense reporting, transparency reports, and investor statements
Oversee capital activity, distributions, budgeting, and management company finances
Supervise portfolio reconciliations and relationships with prime brokers and custodians
Support fund launches, vendor selection, and strategic initiatives
Partner with compliance, legal, tax, and operations teams
Lead regulatory reporting and high-level special projects
