+ Pay Type: Exempt / Salary paid Twice Per Month
+ Annual Salary Pay: $100,000 - $125,000 per year based on experience
+ Annual Bonus Incentive: up to 10% or more of salary per year
+ Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
+ Travel percentage: up to 75%

Summary
The Manager Continuous Improvement Operations supports the development of the Ryder Continuous Improvement culture across the Division/Region by actively promoting and facilitating the use of continuous improvement methods to support new business and existing operations. This position will drive change through focused CI efforts to higher levels of performance in safety, quality, customer satisfaction, performance, cost and growth each and every day. This high influence position will interface with employees at all levels and various functions/departments across the Region, BU and within our shops. This position reports to the Mgr. Continuous Improvement, Field Operations and supports assigned locations in a Region/BU.
The Manager Continuous Improvement Operations must possess a willingness and desire to work directly with his/her peers in the business units and throughout the Maintenance organization to define and set a strategy for engineering efforts and continuous improvement activities for new and existing operations. With a focus on the Truck Maintenance facilities and processes, the Continuous Improvement Operations Manager provides coaching and guidance that ensures standardization and execution of maintenance processes and achievement of business objectives within their assigned branch.
Essential Functions
+ Provide formal and informal training, coaching, mentoring to Ryder associates: must be able to translate business System concepts to local situations and help individuals and teams progress in understanding and correct application for sustainable business improvements.
+ Lead, communicate, implement and provide support on all corporate initiatives. Support, communicate and ensure compliance with all corporately mandated policies, procedures and processes.
+ Perform announced and unannounced quality reviews at FMS branch locations within their assigned geographic area for compliance with predetermined standards relative to maintenance procedures. Provide feedback and input to the corporate Maintenance team regarding the field's performance versus the established standards. Design, implement, maintain, and audit the quality management system based on standard operating systems.
+ Measure, track and perform on-going analysis to ensure process and financial objectives are met.Accountable for key maintenance measurements and results across his/her business unit or branches

Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree required Business, Transportation, Management, Industrial Engineering or related field.
+ Master's degree preferred Industrial Engineering or related field
+ Five (5) years or more Management experience required
+ Five (5) years or more Process or Operations Management preferred
+ Five (5) years or more Supervisory experience preferred
+ Full MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, et. all) intermediate required
+ Working knowledge of maintenance accounting and P&L intermediate required
+ Knowledge of shop management systems intermediate preferred intermediate required
