In this role, you will contribute to building the electrical backbone for new manufacturing facilities at the Agrate site. You join a global Central Construction team, collaborating across disciplines to design, specify, and ensure timely, compliant electrical installations. You’ll work with contractors, verify technical documents, and support commissioning to deliver safe, high-quality industrial electrical systems. This position offers hands-on impact on large-scale infrastructure within a leading semiconductor company.
Responsibilities
- Define basic electrical design for new projects with team guidance
- Prepare specifications for electrical discipline
- Validate contractor documentation and quotations
- Ensure electrical installations meet specs, safety, and environmental rules
- Monitor on-time execution and flag deviations to schedule or specs
- Participate in progress meetings with suppliers and ST team
- Collect final electrical documentation upon project completion
- Coordinate with other disciplines to provide contractor inputs
Key requirements
- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering (minimum)
- Read and understand electrical and instrument schematics
- Experience or knowledge of electrical systems in industrial settings (preferred)
- Knowledge of Autocad and 3D modeling tools (Revit, Navisworks etc.) (preferred)
- Knowledge of Ampere or similar software (preferred)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, synthesis and reporting abilities
- Good teamwork, communication, and documentation skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); Italian knowledge (written and spoken)
