As Head of Configuration and Planning, you will lead configuration delivery across Professional Services International, owning strategy, planning, and resource management. You will drive QA governance and ensure consistent quality across regions, aligning with product, development, and global IT. You’ll standardise processes, tooling, and practices while balancing global standards with regional needs. This is a global, cross-functional leadership role that shapes transformation programs and scalable delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead configuration delivery across multiple regions and countries within Professional Services International
- Define and execute the QA strategy for Configuration with governance and continuous improvement
- Establish planning, estimation, and resource management processes for Configuration squads
- Own routing of planned and BAU demand into Configuration teams
- Align configuration planning with Product & Development release cycles and Implementation timelines
- Collaborate with Implementation, Product & Development, and Global IT as a cross-functional leader
- Drive standardisation of processes, tooling, and best practices across Configuration teams
- Ensure delivery aligns with local Professional Services and Implementation teams while respecting global standards
- Lead and develop Configuration Team Leaders and Configuration Engineers across regions
Key requirements
- 10+ years of software delivery and project management in complex international environments
- Experience delivering large-scale transformation programs and leading distributed teams using Agile
- Strong background in release management across multiple regions and release cycles
- Experience in Quality Assurance governance and continuous improvement models
- Excellent leadership, prioritisation, and stakeholder management in global settings
- Strong analytical mindset balancing speed, quality, and risk
- Technical background with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML
- Advanced knowledge of JIRA and Confluence as delivery and governance tools
