You will lead electromechanical category strategies to reduce total cost of ownership for wire harnesses, batteries, sensors, switches and chargers. As a high-visibility sourcing leader, you’ll work across functions to drive cost reductions, supplier partnerships, and continuous improvement aligned with TTC’s Operational Excellence and Sustainability goals. You’ll influence executive stakeholders, manage supplier performance, and support TTC’s digital transformation. This role offers cross-site collaboration, travel, and the chance to shape a global sourcing strategy with meaningful impact.

Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and lead cost reduction strategies to reduce TCO through cross-functional collaborations and supplier negotiations/partnerships
- Maintain and present category strategy to executive leadership
- Coordinate and implement supply agreements, Long Term Agreements (LTA), Warranty Agreements, and collaborative partnerships
- Serve as internal subject matter expert regarding supplier capabilities, technologies, market conditions, and business risk/opportunities
- Manage supplier performance via metrics like on-time delivery, supplier scorecards, and quality notifications
- Lead cost negotiations, payment terms, and contract implementations with strategic suppliers
- Lead lean strategies (KanBan, VMI, stocking agreements) aligning with Operational Excellence goals
- Lead and support TTC Digital Transformation objectives
- Support multiple areas of TTC’s MRP/ERP system in procurement processes
- Formulate and execute category strategy while leading category team performance
- Present to all organizational levels with confidence
- Troubleshoot issues of varying complexity as they arise
- Lead intradepartmental process improvement projects
- Highly influential with proficient negotiation expertise
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (preferred in Supply Chain Management, Operations or Engineering)
- 10+ years sourcing experience or relevant education in supply chain or operations
- Excellent written and verbal communication with internal/external stakeholders
- Strong ability to manage multiple objectives under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proven ability to analyze situations and drive standardization of processes
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Suite; MRP/ERP experience
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, cost drivers, and market dynamics for assigned commodities
