In this role, you will administer and secure Microsoft 365 services within a GCC-H environment, enabling compliant collaboration with government and partner ecosystems. You’ll work with cross-functional IT teams to ensure availability, security, and seamless integration with other systems. You’ll apply FedRAMP and NIST controls to protect critical data while staying current with M365 features. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position that supports government-grade cloud services and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
- Manage and support all M365 services in GCC-H, keeping configuration and monitoring up-to-date
- Troubleshoot M365 issues and handle support tickets using GCC-H specific monitoring tools
- Conduct regular security audits and evidence collection to ensure alignment with CMMC, NIST 800-171, and FedRAMP
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate M365 with other systems
- Apply automation and scripting to improve efficiency
- Monitor service health, respond to alerts, and communicate status to stakeholders
- Stay current with new M365 features, tools, and standard processes
- Work with government bodies to meet compliance and security requirements
Key requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field or equivalent years of experience
- 5+ years of Microsoft 365 administration in a large-scale environment
- Strong understanding of Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and related M365 services
- Knowledge of FedRAMP, CMMC, and NIST 800-171 compliance requirements
- Solid information security fundamentals and principles
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with ability to translate risks to business terms
- Proficiency in PowerShell and scripting tools for automation
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain a United States Secret Clearance
- Willingness to onsite at a Viasat office location
