As CISO, you will lead Redcare Pharmacy’s security function and shape a modern platform and security strategy that supports rapid innovation. You’ll embed security across the product lifecycle, drive DevSecOps and secure SDLC, and ensure AI, cloud-native architecture, and data protection are designed with safety in mind. You’ll work closely with CIO, IT leadership, and the Board to align risk with business growth. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership of a high-performing team to enable secure, scalable growth.

Responsibilities

Integrate security into product discovery, development, and release with a DevSecOps-driven Secure SDLC
Foster a platform security mindset for cloud-native, app-first and AI-enabled systems
Reduce engineering friction via automation, guardrails, and scalable security patterns
Lead pragmatic risk management that accelerates innovation while maintaining governance
Ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met through scalable security capabilities
Advise CIO, IT leadership, and the Board on risk, resilience, and strategic security investments
Build and develop a high-performing security team (8 people) and promote collaboration across engineering and business

Key requirements

Experience leading security in a digital platform or product-centric environment
Strong knowledge of DevSecOps, cloud-native environments, security engineering, and product security integration
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and commercial realities
Pragmatic, solution-oriented leadership that enables teams while protecting customers
Experience designing scalable, secure platforms; focus on AI security and data protection
