In this role you will oversee non-nursing operations at Dupont Hospital, aligning throughput, service line growth, and resource use with the organization’s mission. You will partner with the CEO and CFO to execute strategic plans, ensure regulatory compliance, and advance patient care outcomes. This position also supports leadership development with a view toward a future CEO role, including participation in an executive development program and potential relocation for advancement.

Responsibilities

Oversee operational performance of non-nursing departments ensuring quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
Collaborate with CEO and CFO to develop and monitor strategic and financial plans, including revenue growth and expense control
Lead process improvements to enhance patient throughput and resource utilization
Identify opportunities for service line expansion and physician recruitment aligned with community needs
Support medical staff relationships and physician engagement through operational support
Review department performance and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement
Coach and mentor department leaders to build leadership capacity
Contribute to budgeting and capital planning to support priorities
Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and accreditation standards
Participate in executive leadership meetings and board presentations

Key requirements

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field
7-9 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience, including 3–5 years in operational or executive-level management roles with responsibility for multiple departments or service lines
Prior experience overseeing multiple hospital departments or service lines (preferred)
Strong strategic planning, financial acumen, and regulatory knowledge
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
