In this role you drive medical leadership across Holy Cross Hospital – Jordan Valley and Holy Cross Hospital – West Valley, aligning physician services with the system’s mission. You shape policies, quality initiatives, and clinical governance while collaborating with nursing leadership and senior administration to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. You act as a strategic change agent within a large, matrixed health system and ensure accountability to the community, employees, nurses and physicians. This opportunity combines mission-driven healthcare with bold, system-wide stewardship and community impact.

Responsibilities

Establish and implement standards and policies to ensure quality of medical care across hospitals
Partner with Chief Nursing Officers to enable multidisciplinary approaches to clinical outcomes and safety
Collaborate with Market Chief Medical Officer and CME to meet regional and system-wide goals
Serve as primary community resource and advise administrators on medical practice and current affairs
Align with leadership expectations across the organization and uphold the mission of the faith-based system
Act as a change agent to drive urgency and thought leadership within the health system
Ensure personal and professional accountability for performance of the medical team

Key requirements

Five years of leadership in physician services and medical staff administration with progressive responsibility
Knowledge of Joint Commission, managed care, and health policy with proven integration of medical management
Board certified in an approved clinical specialty
MD or DO, current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in applicable state
