Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across clinical and non-clinical departments to achieve patient care outcomes
- Ensure hospital quality metrics meet accreditation and regulatory guidelines
- Recruit physicians and staff for targeted specialty areas and drive new hospital ventures
- Develop and expand outpatient and ambulatory programs and relationships with local healthcare providers
- Lead financial processes including month-end reviews, strategic planning, budgeting, and cost controls
- Manage contracts and payer relations to optimize revenue and reduce bad debt
- Drive census growth and strategic planning aligned with organizational goals
- Communicate operational updates to leadership and stakeholders
Key requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required (Master's preferred)
- Experience as a behavioral executive (CEO) or director of a large acute care facility with a sizable psych department
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health management practices and clinical operations
- Advanced knowledge of state and federal regulatory and accreditation requirements in behavioral health
- Experience in operations, financial management, and marketing
- Ability to travel a minimum of 10%
