Responsibilities

Oversee quarterly and annual financial filings and regulatory compliance
Manage accounting operations for corporate and property-level activities, including close processes and policy development
Maintain internal controls and coordinate audits with governance standards
Provide accounting guidance for capital market activities (equity offerings, investor disclosures)
Ensure regulatory compliance and collaborate with tax advisors for filings
Lead multi-entity consolidations, including joint ventures and diverse asset classes
Offer strategic input on acquisitions, dispositions, and complex transactions
Develop and implement scalable processes to support growth
Mentor and lead a high-performing accounting team
Collaborate with senior leadership on technical accounting matters and strategic initiatives

Key requirements

CPA designation is required
At least 15 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in multi-entity or real estate structures
Extensive knowledge of SEC reporting, technical accounting, and financial compliance
Proven ability to lead and develop large teams in a fast-paced environment
Strong expertise in financial reporting, consolidations, and audited financial statements
Experience with modern accounting systems and technologies
Demonstrated ability to manage complex transactions and provide strategic financial advice
