In this role you lead the School of Rehabilitation Sciences as Chair and oversee the newly launched Pre-Clinical Studies major as Program Director. You will shape health sciences education, advance teaching and research excellence, and foster strategic partnerships with clinical agencies and communities. Responsibilities

Provide academic, strategic, and administrative leadership for a multi-program department
Oversee curriculum, assessment, and continuous quality improvement across programs
Ensure accreditation compliance and lead accreditation processes
Foster faculty development, mentorship, and resource management
Engage with internal and external stakeholders (clinical partners, alumni, advisory boards) to strengthen partnerships
Lead the Pre-Clinical Studies program as Program Director, including curriculum development and student success initiatives
Pursue and manage funding, scholarships, and research/teaching opportunities
Support community engagement, research impact, and interprofessional collaboration

Key requirements

Earned doctorate (PhD, EdD, ScD, or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
Eligible for appointment as a tenured Associate Professor
Demonstrated scholarly productivity suitable for a tenured appointment
Academic or research leadership experience (e.g., Program Director, Department Chair)
Experience with academic administration including curriculum oversight, assessment, and accreditation/quality improvement
Ability to provide collaborative, strategic leadership and engage stakeholders
