As CFO for a rapidly expanding retail and distribution company, you lead the financial strategy and operations, overseeing Finance, Accounting, IT, and Strategy while partnering with the CEO. You drive growth through budgeting, cash flow management, and M&A, while ensuring regulatory compliance. You will manage multiple entities across locations and build a high-performing finance team. This role offers strategic impact at scale in a growth-oriented retail environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of Finance and Accounting, including reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management
Drive strategic planning, investment evaluation, and M&A initiatives
Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and regulatory requirements
Partner with the CEO and leadership team to guide business growth and decision-making
Lead and develop the Finance team while fostering a culture of excellence and accountability

Key requirements

Proven experience in the retail industry
15+ years of progressive experience in Accounting and Finance
Prior CFO or equivalent senior finance leadership experience in growth-oriented businesses
CPA, CMA, or other relevant certification strongly preferred
Strategic thinker with strong hands-on execution ability
Experience in multi-location operations or distribution is a strong plus
