As CFO, you will lead the group’s financial function and IT/data management in a PE-backed, multi-site manufacturing environment. You will drive planning, consolidation, and cash flow while supporting M&A and post-merger integration to accelerate growth. You’ll coordinate with banks, investors, and stakeholders and oversee controls, HR administration, and cross-border finance. This role offers international exposure and a direct impact on scale and profitability in a growing roll-up.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize group-wide accounting and reporting, including transfer pricing and post-merger integration
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, consolidation, and cash flow planning
- Implement and modernize controlling/reporting tools (PowerBI, LucaNet)
- Manage banking, investor, and stakeholder communications
- Lead M&A activities: due diligence, post-merger integration, and financing structuring
- Provide financial and process optimization support to subsidiaries across sites
Key requirements
- Several years in a CFO or senior financial leadership role in a mid-sized company, ideally PE-backed
- Industry knowledge in industrial sectors or project-based models
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, HGB, consolidation, working capital, and liquidity control
- Proficient with IT systems (LucaNet, PowerBI, MS Excel) and ERP (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Experience in digitalizing financial processes and implementing new systems
- Strong negotiation skills with banks, auditors, and investors
- Structured, analytical, independent, accountable, and adaptable with high targets
- Fluency in Italian and English; German is an advantage; French is a plus
