Responsibilities

Lead the hospital's senior leadership team and participate in governance planning
Review financial performance, forecasts, and intervene as needed
Ensure compliance with UHS quality, risk, financial, HR, and other directives
Pursue opportunities to improve patient satisfaction and service excellence
Align operations with strategic plans to achieve corporate goals
Collaborate with board, physicians, management, and staff to address community needs
Oversee strategic annual plans and budgets for the hospital
Drive improvements in operational efficiency and patient outcomes

Key requirements

Comprehensive knowledge of acute care hospital operations and financial management
Experience with regulatory standards and accreditation (e.g., JCAHO)
Proven leadership and executive management capabilities
Strong relationship management across boards, physicians, staff, and community
Deep understanding of facility-level financial, operational, and strategic needs
Ability to motivate and communicate with diverse groups
MBA, MHA or related degree from an accredited program
5-8 years of related hospital experience
