In this role you drive day-to-day project implementation for high-profile venues, leading a cross-functional project team to align design, construction, and client objectives. You will manage budgets, schedules, and vendor relationships, ensuring quality and timely delivery. You’ll facilitate client meetings, oversee VE processes, and coordinate approvals and permits to advance complex sports and entertainment projects. This position offers hands-on leadership, on-site oversight, and meaningful impact on iconic venues.

Responsibilities
- Manage design, construction and owner-direct contracts on behalf of the client (architect, construction contracts, and consultants)
- Track budget and schedule compliance and report status to the client
- Lead client meetings to review budget, schedule and program changes with signoff
- Establish working protocols with ICON staff, design/construction teams, and stakeholders
- Develop and manage Value Engineering (VE) processes and integrate VE items into design and contracts
- Maintain reference logs and prepare comprehensive monthly reports and client-approved updates
- Assist in finalizing construction costs and GMP negotiations
- Develop RFPs for sub-consultants and vendors
- Lead owner/architect/contractor meetings focusing on schedule, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and quality control
- Oversee design team progress and on-site construction quality
- Monitor allowances/contingencies usage and respond to change orders and time extensions
- Coordinate procurement of FFE equipment and scheduling for delivery/installation
- Assist client in obtaining permits, entitlements, and occupancy approvals and monitor TCO/CO progress
- Support commissioning of the new venue and staffing/workload planning on site
- Ensure ICON staff have appropriate on-site workspace and productive environment
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, architecture or real estate or 7-10 year’s relevant experience
- Familiarity with CSI divisions, change orders, budget formats, and architectural/engineering plans
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with complex functions and data analysis
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and learn quickly
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project preferred
