Executive leadership role overseeing Matthews Granite within the Memorialization Group. You will own P&L, set strategic direction, and drive both organic and acquisition-led growth for a market-leading division. This role blends entrepreneurial drive with public-company discipline, leveraging the resources of a larger organization. You will work to scale the business, integrate strategy with execution, and leave a lasting legacy in a high-impact, manufacturing-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • own and deliver P&L for the Granite Division and oversee all functions
  • lead strategic and operational execution across manufacturing, distribution, and sales
  • drive profitable growth through both commercial initiatives and operational excellence
  • lead transformational initiatives by aligning strategy, people, and execution
  • manage growth through organic initiatives and acquisitions
  • collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting

Key requirements

  • 15+ years progressive business management experience
  • 10+ years in a leadership role (direct or indirect)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business management or related field
  • advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) preferred
  • periodic travel locally, nationally, and/or internationally
  • strong analytical, budgeting, planning, and project management skills
  • excellent verbal and written communication
  • proficiency with MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
  • ability to build collaborative relationships across the organization and with external clients
  • ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to influence peers and senior management
  • self-motivation with attention to detail and deadlines
