Experteer Overview
In this role, you will drive growth for Eurofins in Switzerland by identifying new market opportunities and forging strong customer relationships for GMP‑compliant analytical testing. You will position Eurofins as a preferred partner in Microbiology, Chemical‑Physical Analytics and Environmental & Utility Testing, helping us expand our regional footprint. You will work with cross‑functional teams to develop and execute sales strategies, manage accounts, and represent the company at industry events. This is a high‑impact role for a proactive BD professional who thrives in a science‑driven, regulatory‑focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new Swiss (Bio)Pharma customers via proactive outreach and lead generation
- Drive revenue growth by creating and closing new business opportunities aligned with strategy
- Develop and implement targeted sales plans to increase market penetration
- Plan and execute sales activities to meet ambitious revenue targets
- Manage existing accounts, ensuring satisfaction and identifying upsell/cross‑sell opportunities
- Represent Eurofins at conferences, exhibitions, and industry events
- Keep CRM and customer databases accurate and up‑to‑date
Key requirements
- Scientific degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry, or related field
- At least 3 years in customer interaction, with initial exposure to Business Development
- Minimum 5 years of Microbiology experience
- Solid knowledge of GMP regulations
- Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Willingness to travel up to 20%
