Experteer Overview

In this role you will be NOV’s primary commercial and technology representative for selected European operator accounts. You will blend technical insight with commercial strategy to build long-term partnerships that drive scalable opportunities across NOV’s portfolio. You’ll identify operator strategies and emerging challenges, connecting them with the right NOV expertise and technologies. This is a high-visibility, impact-driven position focused on shaping how operators adopt and benefit from NOV solutions in the drilling value chain.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute business development strategies for selected European operators
Build and strengthen long-term relationships with key customer stakeholders
Identify and pursue new opportunities across NOV's technology portfolio
Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Product Management to tailor customer-facing solutions
Promote and support commercialization of innovative technologies
Monitor market trends, customer priorities, and competitive activity
Represent NOV at customer meetings, technical forums, and industry events
Support pipeline development, opportunity reviews, and strategic growth initiatives

Key requirements

8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within oil & gas
Strong understanding of offshore drilling operations and technologies
Proven ability to build trusted customer relationships and identify business opportunities
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Fluent in English
Willingness to travel within Europe
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Knowledge of European oil & gas operators (preferred)
Experience with new technologies or digital solutions (preferred)
