Responsibilities

Support investor clients and portfolio companies through the deal lifecycle (diligence, value creation topics, exit support)
Assess market attractiveness and provide targeted information and financial analysis on potential acquisitions
Prepare and communicate synthesized findings with impact for clients and internal stakeholders
Work with portfolio companies on value creation agendas across topics
Serve as a subject matter expert on investor services and related topics
Learn to structure ambiguous problems and extract clear takeaways using qualitative and quantitative methods
Collaborate with diverse teams to implement solutions and move organizations to act
Build trust-based relationships with clients and communicate effectively with senior leaders
Develop leadership style and prioritize projects with guidance from mentors and staffing managers
Interact with McKinsey's wider network and leverage cross-functional expertise
Operate within the Madrid Private Capital practice, serving private investors and portfolio companies

Key requirements

Undergraduate degree or master's degree or 1+ years of work experience after completing undergraduate degree
Previous experience in investment banking, private equity, or venture capital with exposure to transactions is a plus
Investor mindset and interest in private equity, real estate, and/or venture capital
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment
Capability to drive an independent workstream within a broader project
Comfort with ambiguous, changing situations
Ability to break down and solve problems using quantitative thinking and analysis
Effective communication in Spanish and English (verbal and written)
