Responsibilities

Prospect and develop new business with Retail Agents and Carrier Underwriters
Market and sell wholesale insurance solutions to hit production goals
Build and maintain relationships with Specialty Carriers for favorable pricing and coverage
Pre-qualify submissions following Carrier guidelines and focus on high-probability opportunities
Analyze submissions to select best carrier, coverage, forms, and premium
Gather client risk information and identify additional areas to quote
Stay informed on industry trends affecting underwriting and pricing
Educate partners on RPS’s risk solutions and lead/oversee support teams when assigned
Travel as needed to engage with clients

Key requirements

Proven business development and relationship management skills
Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
Proactive, goal-driven mindset with urgency to achieve targets
Ability to leverage data and tools to craft insurance solutions
High responsiveness and client-focused communication
Insurance expertise and risk management credibility
Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of related experience
Home state P&C license or willingness to obtain within 90 days
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Sales experience in insurance or related field preferred
