In this role you support and maintain advanced broadcast video systems, acting as a technical advisor and incident owner. You’ll work with engineering teams and customers to ensure system performance and rapid issue resolution, across software-defined video networking, content processing, orchestration platforms, and network monitoring. You will help shape deployment and testing strategies while documenting procedures. This opportunity combines hands-on technical work with cross‑functional collaboration at the forefront of broadcast technology.

Responsibilities

Act as an expert-level technical advisor or specialist on complex broadcast initiatives
Monitor systems and verify the integrity and availability of broadcast hardware, servers, and processes, reviewing logs
Manage events to resolution in line with Incident and SLA guidelines
Serve as single point of contact for multiple support cases
Provide feedback on solution requirements, design specifications & operational guidelines
Coordinate with peers and Evertz broadcast customers to ensure delivery of project milestones
Establish testing requirements to evaluate proposed designs and validate platforms
Document departmental and technical procedures

Key requirements

Strong critical thinking skills
Advanced knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows environments; experience with installations, upgrades, troubleshooting
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with initiative to identify and resolve problems independently
Willingness to relocate to California for long-term on-site support
Working knowledge of Evertz platforms (preferred)
Technical Diploma/Degree or equivalent broadcast experience (preferred)
