As an AWS Solution Architect, you shape and deliver strategies to broaden the use of AWS services within strategic accounts in Italy. You own technical engagements and develop deep AWS expertise to guide customers and partners through architecture and adoption. You work with senior technical stakeholders and software teams to ensure successful migrations and new deployments. The role blends technical leadership, pre-sales influence, and evangelism to help customers realize value from the AWS platform.

Responsibilities

Partner with sales to design customer solutions and drive AWS adoption and revenue
Act as an AWS evangelist and educate customers on AWS value proposition
Establish credibility and build relationships with senior technical leaders within customers
Participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure customer success for new/migrated applications on AWS
Deliver hands-on education and transfer knowledge through training sessions
Author or contribute to AWS customer-facing publications (whitepapers, tutorials)
Present sessions at AWS and industry conferences
Serve as technical liaison between customers, service engineering, and support
Contribute to as a key sales team member to ensure customer success in building on AWS
Scope engagements with clear objectives and success criteria
Own engagements to ensure timely, value-delivering delivery
Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS SA community

Key requirements

Extensive design/implementation/consulting/devops experience with distributed applications
Experience in infrastructure or software architecture with databases and networking
Experience in pre-sales engineering or solutions architecture for technology/software sales
Ability to travel internationally
Fluency in Italian and English
Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to work across organizations
