As a Strategy & Acquisitions Associate within AWS Data Center Supply Solutions, you will help shape long-term expansion of AWS’s global data center network by handling deal flow, site selection, and contract development. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders to craft business cases, negotiate agreements, and track execution of infrastructure deals. The role blends strategic analysis with hands-on contract work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. You will contribute to scalable, cost-efficient data center capacity and improvements across regions, enabling continuous cloud delivery.

Responsibilities

Prepare and forecast transaction costs, building a business case for leadership review
Assist in site selection, strategy development, and regional data analysis
Manage stakeholder engagement from due diligence to contract execution, tracking milestones
Support development of Master Telecommunications Service Agreements, Work Orders, Lease Agreements, and related documents
Ensure data integrity in supply planning and execution systems (cost, capacity, dates, terms)
Lead continual process improvement initiatives for operational efficiency and value-added activities

Key requirements

Experience with business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business
Experience in developing, negotiating and executing business agreements
Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
Experience in setting up and managing a sales pipeline
Preferred: experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
Preferred: experience in online advertising or high-tech products/services
