In this role you will handle complex civil litigation matters from start to finish, contributing to strategy, client interaction, and courtroom work. You will work within a growing Seattle practice to deliver practical legal solutions and high-quality advocacy. You’ll collaborate with experienced litigators and assume increasing responsibility across the case lifecycle, including trials and negotiations. This is a hands-on position ideal for an attorney who seeks ownership of cases and meaningful client service.

Responsibilities
- Manage civil litigation matters through all phases of the case lifecycle
- Meet with clients to evaluate claims and discuss strategy
- Conduct factual investigations and legal research
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
- Handle written discovery and related disputes
- Take and defend depositions of parties, experts, and witnesses
- Appear in court for hearings, motions, and case management
- Participate in settlement discussions, mediation, and negotiations
- Assist with and conduct trials, arbitrations, and evidentiary hearings as needed
Key requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience
- Demonstrated experience with motion practice
- Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skills
- Experience managing cases with increasing levels of responsibility
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Active Washington State Bar membership, or eligibility for admission
