In this role you will enhance, support, and maintain healthcare applications, guiding the development of new features and fixes. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage vendor releases, and ensure changes follow change procedures. You act as the application SME on projects and drive end-user productivity through training and documentation. The position includes testing, on-call support, and ongoing system optimization to support patient care and operations.

Responsibilities

Enhance, support, and maintain applications and coordinate new functionality development
Build, test, and implement functionality, maintenance changes, and fixes
Review vendor releases and system upgrades
Analyze and implement system/process changes with change management adherence
Serve as application SME on project teams and educate stakeholders on functionality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to configure new tools and improve end-user productivity
Create and maintain test scripts; develop and execute testing for installations and upgrades
Provide on-call 24/7 support, monitor queues and interfaces, and perform maintenance
Maintain documentation, service desk routing, and education for stakeholders

Key requirements

3–5 years of relevant clinical, certification, or technical experience
Experience in clinical or operations roles (MA/LPN/RN or Ambulatory Manager) or equivalent certification
Preferred: RN, PT, OT, MA, LPN and EpicCare Ambulatory certification within 90 days of hire
Application-specific certification/proficiency within 90 days of hire if applicable

Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to translate IT terminology for stakeholders Collaborative cross-functional teamwork EpicCare Ambulatory (preferred certification)Healthcare IT systems experience Change management processes
