In this role, you lead air permitting projects (NSR, Title V, PSD, PBR) and coordinate with environmental consultants and agencies to secure favorable permit terms. You support plant teams in implementing permit conditions and drive compliance through accurate reporting and inspections. The position sits at the crossroads of regulatory action and operational execution, shaping permits for multiple sites and ensuring site-wide consistency. You contribute to Olin’s safety, accountability, and environmental stewardship at scale.

Responsibilities

Lead preparation of air permit applications (NSR, Title V, PSD, PBR, Standards) and manage negotiations with agencies
Coordinate with environmental consultants to progress permitting actions and obtain approvals
Track and renew NSR and Title V permits, including amendments and public notices
Prepare PBRs and assess permitting needs for new projects across plant sites
Serve as lead contact during inspections/investigations by regulatory bodies and facilitate issue resolution
Assist plants with implementing permit conditions and Deviations reporting for Title V and other regulations

Key requirements

Bachelor in a technical discipline (preferred: Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or Environmental Engineering)
1+ year air compliance/environmental experience; 5+ years air permitting/compliance experience preferred
3+ years air modeling experience preferred
Knowledge of Texas and Federal air regulations as they apply to the Chemical Industry (preferred)
Ability to travel to plants and to Austin, TX for regulatory meetings
Strong written and oral communication, organization, and prioritization skills
Valid US driver's license
