Experteer Overview
As an AI Security & Customer Engagement Advisor, you will serve as a senior technical leader shaping Okta’s AI security and identity offerings. You’ll own the technical leadership across sales, implementation, expansion, and long-term adoption of AI products. You’ll build lab and demo assets, drive scalable AI knowledge, and align market strategy with product roadmaps. You’ll engage CISOs and CIOs, influence partnerships, and accelerate adoption through repeatable playbooks and high-impact POCs. This role combines technical depth with executive engagement to accelerate secure AI-led growth.

Responsibilities
- Lead Lab/Demo asset development and AI prototyping
- Shape sales velocity by aligning pricing and technical execution with field realities
- Create reference architectures, whitepapers, and standardized POC guides
- Build centralized knowledge hubs and dashboards to scale AI expertise
- Provide strategic guidance to SEs, TAMs, and Professional Services; act as feedback loop to Product
- Represent Okta’s AI strategy at conferences and build AI/cloud partner alliances
- Influence roadmaps with CPO, CISO, and Engineering for AI-first innovations
- Serve as trusted advisor to CISOs/CIOs; lead high-impact POCs and ensure delivery aligns with vision
- Identify technical upsell opportunities; collaborate with Post-Sales to reduce manual effort and boost adoption
Key requirements
- 10+ years in identity, cybersecurity, AI, or Data Science
- Experience driving technical customer success beyond initial sale
- Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies (anomaly detection, LLMs) and Agentic Frameworks (A2A, MCP)
- Strong credibility with enterprise CISOs and boards; proven cybersecurity strategy experience
- Ability to create repeatable playbooks and scalable backbone assets
- Prior leadership as CTO, Field CTO, or Distinguished Architect in cybersecurity or SaaS
- Advanced degree in a technical or business-related field
