Senior Specialist / Project Manager

As AI Innovation Specialist, you will identify and deploy AI-powered solutions to optimize legal workflows and operations. You will partner with the Deputy General Counsel and cross-functional teams to scale automation across the legal department. You’ll act as a solution builder and strategic advisor, driving adoption and measurable impact. This role offers the opportunity to shape how AI transforms legal work in a global, publicly traded tech company.

Compensation / Benefits

base salary $200,000–$240,000
bonus up to 25%

Responsibilities

Design and implement automation and AI solutions for legal processes to streamline workflows
Collaborate with external vendors to select and deploy third-party AI tools
Enable AI capabilities for case management, risk analysis, drafting, document review, and reporting
Manage full lifecycle of automation projects from needs discovery to post-deployment adoption
Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with IT and vendor support
Advise on best practices to scale AI tools while ensuring compliance
Provide thought leadership on future legal technology and AI adoption
Coordinate with IT, Finance, Internal Audit, and Business Units to align projects with broader objectives
Support change management and create training plans for stakeholders
Track KPIs (cycle times, cost savings, adoption) for continuous improvement

Key requirements

5+ years in legal operations, legal tech, or technical roles supporting legal teams with automation/AI
Strong technical skills including system administration and workflow automation
Deep understanding of legal processes, contracting, and stakeholder dynamics in large organizations
Hands-on experience implementing AI-driven technologies in a legal department
Experience with AI tools used in the legal industry (AI-powered research, document review, risk assessment)
Ability to translate legal needs into scalable technical solutions
Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams on large-scale programs in Legal
Ability to balance technical and business considerations in AI/automation
Excellent communication and change management skills across legal, procurement, and business stakeholders
Experience with CLM tools, redlining workflows, document review platforms and other legal tools
Technical fluency with CS/Engineering/Math background or equivalent
Genuine curiosity about AI/ML applications and hands-on experience with LLM tools
Experience or proficiency with no-code/low-code platforms for workflow automation
