You’ll coordinate projects and events, and assist in long-range planning to optimize department performance. Responsibilities
- Assist in daily administrative functions of the department and manage operational details
- Prepare and monitor budgets, manage accounts, purchasing, and travel
- Support personnel, facilities, and reporting requirements
- Participate in planning and policy development; analyze policies and resource use
- Oversee expenditures within approved limits; analyze variances
- Coordinate departmental projects and events (faculty symposiums, research forums, engagement activities)
- Coordinate Appointment and Promotions processes with leadership; prepare time and effort submissions (ADP, Faculty180)
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in business administration, clinical research, or healthcare
- Experience handling confidential information and multitasking in a complex environment
